Our GentleMaxPro combines the power of 755 nm Alexandrite laser with 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser to provide safe, comfortable, quick, and effective PLHR for all skin types. Laser hair removal is permanent hair reduction. The majority of patients can expect to see a 75% to 95% reduction in hair growth after completing a series of recommended sessions. Ideal candidates can reach close to 99% reduction of hair growth, but results can vary, especially if you experience future hormonal changes. Singular touch up treatments are available should new growth appear. We provide a perfectly stress-free experience – based on size of area(s), purchase Unlimited 6 months, Unlimited 12 months, singular touch-ups, or a customized full body package.
Pre-treatment:
- Do NOT wax, tweeze, thread, or otherwise remove hair in the area(s) to be treated a minimum of 4 weeks prior to PLHR treatment.
- A consultation must be performed prior to your first appointment. The consultation online booking fee is not refundable but is redeemable toward any other clinical service provided by iT Intelligent Treatment. Services provided by our partners are not eligible.
- Please shave the area(s) to be treated the evening before or the morning of. Note that shaving the day of your appointment could result in more sensitive and reactive skin. If you cannot reach the area to be shaved, your local Barber can provide these services. We do not shave – if you arrive at your appointment unshaven, the laser will not be effective, and treatment could result in a superficial skin burn. iT Intelligent Treatment will consider this as a “No-Show.” The No-Show fee will have to be processed prior to booking your next treatment in your Unlimited Package.
- Changes in Health History must be reported, including new medications, to ensure skin safety. This may result in a necessary pause to your treatments.
- Sun tanning, spray tans/fake bake and self-tanning lotion restrictions apply. Any exposure/use between appointments must be reported so the best decision for your appointment timing can be made.
- Once your first appointment is scheduled, no refunds or transfers allowed.
- Other restrictions may apply – your consultation and consent forms are fully informative.
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing to your appointment when having body parts treated.
Post Treatment:
- Immediately after your treatment, there may be some slight redness, swelling around the hair follicles and/or mild discomfort similar to a sunburn.
- A lotion, and if applicable, chemical free SPF will be applied to the area(s).
- During and/or immediately after treatment you smell burned hair. This is normal.
- Do not pick, scratch, or rub the treated area.
- Do not exfoliate (use any abrasive scrubs or loofahs) for at least 4 days post treatment, or until any sensitivity subsides. Doing so can cause hyperpigmentation! (Men may usually shave their beard and mustache area the day after but permission is patient specific.)
- Avoid heavy cardio, swimming indoors or ocean, hot yoga/sauna/jacuzzi, and any activity that promotes sweating for 24 hours post treatment. Doing so may cause irritation including blistering and hyperpigmentation.
